Supported by over 100 staffers in Princeton and in Shenzhen, China, veteran international educator Bob Dunseth heads the ISS Asia Pacific Office. Bob has been an international teacher, principal, and head of school and has worked in Asia for over twenty years.
Bob is joined by Lila Leung. Lila, fully fluent in Mandarin, Spanish, Cantonese, and English is also a former school head, international teacher, modern language department head, and development director.
Both are visionary leaders in international education.

Our ISS home and regional offices contract department is composed of seven professional senior staff members -- all overseas experienced educators -- and 55 support personnel who provide comprehensive assistance and support for the school during its development and on-going operation.

We are a not-for-profit organization supervised by a Board of Directors composed of individuals working in the fields of education, diplomacy, law, and business.

Our New Projects
ISS is proud to announce the newest schools in its portfolio:
International School Beihai
and
Shenyang Pacific Academy
Both schools will open in September, 2010.
International School Beihai located in sunny south-western China will primarily serve the dependents of the massive Stora Enso forestry project. Students will be from Finland, Sweden, Germany, Brazil, and Russia. The curriculum will follow the PYP protocol and feature maintenance of native languages.
ISS has hired veteran international educator Barbara Parker to develop the school as Stora-Enso's presence grows over the next few years.
The Shenyang Pacific Academy intends to become the first US accredited high school in China designed to prepare Chinese nationals to attend quality colleges in the United States.
This bold new project will select from the best students across the PRC and provide a US style high school program featuring collaborative learning, critical thinking, and academic rigor.
In September, grade 9 will begin with up to 100 students, and the remaining levels will roll out over the next three years.
ISS has contracted with Steve Alexander as the dyanmic school head for Shenyang. Steve was previously director in Kiev and Vientianne.
